Tom Weaver leads the times at Prescott
Driving the Weaver family Empire Evo 3 alongside father Richard, Tom won both Midland Championship run-offs at Prescott last weekend with the best time of day in the first run off – 38.30 seconds. As a result Tom was also awarded Midland Championship ‘Man of the Meeting’.
July is a very busy month in the hillclimb calendar so we only run a one day event at Prescott with less than 80 cars the result from Championship competitors.
Only one new class record – Michael Thomson from Class A (i) in his shared Lotus Exige – 47.14 seconds.
Rodney Eyles continues to lead the Championship from Richard Snow – 5 new class records this year to date and 2 points ahead of Richard Snow, with last years champion Richard Price third, ahead of the chasing pack.
Johnathen Varley heads the Top Ten Challenge, Tom Weaver is 2 points ahead of Max Hawkes in the Under 25s whilst Rodney Eyles leads the Over 65s.
All our remaining weekends are alongside the British Hillclimb Championship – in August at Shelsley Walsh and Loton Park before the final rounds in late September at Prescott.
