End of the championship season at Loton Park

The end of another excellent season for most of our Championship contenders last weekend at Loton Park and with a tie on points at the top of the table only decided by the tie-break rules.
Neither Richard Price or Johnathen Varley could break their respective class records this year and gain the extra point for doing so – they both finish on 126 points. Richard has 17 class wins this year against the 16 for JV and also reached his maximum 14 scores one round ahead – JV chose to miss the one day Prescott event in July. Therefore Richard is declared winner of the 2025 BMTR with Hoosier Tires Midland Hill Climb Championship .
Third overall is Richard Snow with 123 points, although he set 5 new records in Class A (ii) he missed 2 events and a 3rd. in class at Prescott meant that he couldn’t match Richard and JV.
Alex Coles has excelled all year, co-driving with Kelvin Broad in the Force TA, finishing fourth in the Championship, plus second equal in the ‘ Wynn Developments’ Top Ten Challenge with Alex Summers, behind only Matt Ryder. Alex also wins the Under 25 Challenge ahead of Tom Weaver.
Dave Wilson is the winner of the Over 65s Challenge ahead of Steve Atkins and Robert Lancaster-Gaye.
Please check your own points and class standings and inform me of my mistakes within 7 days from publication, where-upon the results will be declared final.
Our Annual Dinner and Prize-giving is on Saturday evening the 29th. November at the Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel, near Kidderminster. For those wishing to stay overnight you can now book rooms direct – telephone 01562/ 777555 and state that you are attending our event.
